Mother’s Day Coupons

Aloha Everybody!!

I just spent the last two weeks away with my family in Hawaii, that is why I have been M.I.A. … I hope that all of you are well!! Hawaii is paradise… no other words to describe the State and it’s people!

So, for obvious reasons, it has been pretty nutty around here … We got back on Monday afternoon … It was my mentor’s retirement party,Gerry Robillard. Mix that together with a crazy time change! Oi!!! I need another vacation… no word of a lie!! That is why I have had trouble posting my Mother’s Day Activities!

I figured that it is better late than never … I am sure that there is somebody else out that is just as last minute as I am … so, you might find it handy or you can file it away for next year!!

I like to create a quick card with a Mother’s Day doll, designed by the students and the assembled coupon booklets directly underneath their doll … on a piece of card stock.

I love this Mother’s Day Coupons Booklet … I find the students get very creative … I like to brainstorm together with the students and create a list of the things that they could do for, or with their mother…Just cut them apart and staple them on the side!

Happy Mother’s Day Coupons

I love Mother’s Day!! But … I can’t help but feel just a teeny weeny blue, as I had a miscarriage on Mother’s Day last year .It was also the last Mother’s Day that I shared with my daddy… God blessed me with my Julian almost immediately after my miscarriage .That was truly the miracle, and my other little miracles that helped me overcome such hard times.

Onto very happy thoughts … I love my three little kiddies Lukas, Olivia and Julian (although I do understand why certain animals eat their offspring, lol!!!) … I can’t remember how life was before my children …All I know is that it’s just so amazing now!! I love being a mommy … especially a teacher mommy!!
